CD ReviewsJust Like the Man Said... pobrecitoshame | Philadelphia, PA USA | 06/03/2007 (5 out of 5 stars) "... this cd is GOLD!I bought it when it first came out in 1990 and I still have it, although I ripped it to mp3 format so I wouldn't destroy it by overplaying it.What makes this cd great is that unlike some greatest hits albums, where they only put shortened, radio-length versions on, this has the original album length versions of some of the Bros' best works. And for all you people who think you know something about rock guitar playing, check out "Hope You Feel Better Love(Part 1 and 2)"! When most people think of Ernie Isley they think "That Lady", which is here and is okay.But when the history of mind-blowing, soul-stirring, sky-scraping,mountain-chopping guitar solos is written, his work on HYFBL will rank right along with Hendrix'"Voodoo Child(Slight Return)and Band of Gypsys "Machine Gun". And he plays DRUMS on the track, too!So, if you get a chance pick this up or the original album it's from, "Fight the Power".No, I'm not selling mine's.Uh,uh my brother, you've got to get your own!"
