Despite the smog-damaged ruins of it?s once glorious past, Athens can be proud of it?s remarkable and exemplary Metal scene and of it?s leading band, Inner Wish, in particular. Formed in 1995, Inner Wish have a varied and acclaimed past behind them, touring with U.D.O., Helloween, Anathema, Therion, amongst others, as well as having their last album, 2004?s Silent Faces, chart at #9 on the Japanese Import charts.
