"Most people discovered Ibrahim Ferrer like I did. They bought Buena Vista Social Club and was entranced by this man's powerful and soothing voice. But this CD is different. The recordings of him from decades ago prove that he's been one of the best Cuban vocalists for years and was finally discovered by the rest of the world. This disc is a time machine that takes you back 30-40 years in his career.
The upbeat songs on this album capture Ferrer's energy and the bolero's illustrate his cool and suave demeanor. It has definitely become my favorite Ferrer album!"
