Undisputedly one of the most exciting live bands of the era, this is Humble Pie at their peak--a well-oiled, soulful blues-rock dynamo. Formed late 1968, Humble Pie was one of the first supergroups of the epoch. Finding huge success in the '70s, they are best remembered for their dynamic live concert performances. Aiming for an even more authentic R&B sound, Stevie Marriott also recruited three female backing singers, The Blackberries. The trio had performed with Tina Turner as Ikettes, and with Ray Charles as Raelettes.
