CD Reviews

Good for a good time

"Heaven in the back seat of my cadillac gives barry white a run for his money! These wonderfully talented soulsters give us a little taste from the other side of the pond. Take it out & get your groove on!"
Real memories

"In a little town called Monze, Zambia, Central Africa at a mission school our teachers would not allow us to own music but somehow behind our dinning hall we could play our music secretly. Hot Chocolate is the stuff that taught us what real music was. We sung these songs in class like they were religious songs. Its too bad that such bands ended up disbanding but their music truly lives on. This is a cd I dedicate to my late friend Mao who loved it so much. Mao thanks for the wonderful times. Though only 14/15 years of age Hot Chocolate made us tick."
And a Marshmallow on Top

"Hot Chocolate. Smooth, inviting, warm and rich. Most of the group originated from islands in the Caribbean but were based in England. Along with their big hits "Emma" (Emmaline) and "You Sexy Thing" was the group's version of "Brother Louie" (also covered by the group "Stories"). This album is worth a listen alone for those three tunes. Everything else is a bonus. Maybe I should have said a cherry on top. Whatever. Enjoy."
