CD ReviewsWonderful recording Daniel Graser | Wappingers Falls, New York United States | 06/19/2002 (5 out of 5 stars) "This has to be the most relaxed and assured performance of the Mozart horn concertos I've ever heard. The dynamics aren't stretched much at all, instead, the music just flows without any surprises. I have to say it was very effective, the phrasing was different than in any I've heard but it really worked. If its in your budget I would recommend you get this and the legendary Dennis Brain recording as they are both magnificent but vastly different. The Academy under Neville Marriner present a very fine accompnaiment and accentuate Pyatt's performance very well. Pyatt is currently principal of the London Symphony and it's easy to see why. With this wonderfully warm and large tone, and mature/poised musicianship he has a very bright future ahead of himself. If you can find it you wont regret buying this recording."
