Great performance

"I purchased this cd as a stocking stuffer for my husband this year. I was especially interested in the last two tracks, the Lyric Pieces. We have the Lyric Pieces for Piano played by Emil Gilels. We used to listen to it all the time when our daughter was born, so we associate the music with her birth. The orchestrated versions are gorgeous and colorful, and beautifully played. Of course, the Holberg Suite is a wonderful piece, and the Gottenburg Symphony doesn't disappoint. It is a beautiful disc and I highly recommend it."
