Heino - A collection over 30 years of performances

"Heino is a well known folk - pop singer in Germany but not so well know in the US, a pity.. This album covers a good range of his best material (but of course it couldn't fit in ALL the great songs) from his sailing and homesickness songs to joys of nature and some pop songs that find new expression here. Sorry to report noommpahpah band and no yodeling :) but try it anyway. Ok, it's sometimes sad, sometimes schmaltzy, sometimes wicked, but above everything is the wonderful, soaring, wide ranging voice of Heino."
