Individual songs tell the stories of individual experiences of the people of the city - a side that tourists never saw before Katrina. New Orleans lives out its daily life with a blend of pain and purpose that come through honestly and lovingly in this CD. I've missed New Orleans every day since I moved away and for just a little bit, Star Turtle took me home."
