"There are several good bands out there and there are several good songs out there, but never could you liken a song to art and a band to a troup of artists. In a genre plagued by three-chord songs and cliche lyrics, the Grand Street Cryers, in my opinion, have restored artistic integrity to pop music and have rejected the "all for the money" approach to song writing. I was truly impressed with this work of art!"

"I was first introducded to this band a few years ago at a live show in Dallas. I waited and waited for a CD, but none came out. Then I found out they changed their name from Dead City Radio to The Grand Street Cryers. I immediatly purchased the CD and I haven't been able to stop singing the songs yet. Picture Toad the Wet Sprocket mixed with Robert Earl Keen and you just might understand the inspired music that has infiltrated lead singer Tim Locke's head. Its amazing. You must hear it to believe it."
