CD Reviews

Excellent Metal for the casual Biker

"After buying the game and being blown away by the music, I determined that I had to purchase the soundtrack CD. LucasArts offered it through their catalog, but I didn't get around to buying it from them. I spent the next few years searching the stores, getting frustrated because nobody had ever heard of the Gone Jackals. Finally, a friend recommended Amazon.com, and there it was! You must buy this CD. "Legacy" and "Drop the hammer" alone are worth the price of admission. My only regret is that the disc doesn't contain that song by Chitlins, Whiskey and Skirt. [smirk]"
The most under-rated album ever

"This is, simply put, THE most underrated album of all time. For a band this good, this band really do deserve SO MUCH MORE recognition. Their music just hits you where it hurts when you first hear it. Black Is White and Trapped aren't so good (although Trapped has one of the coolest solos) and You Don't Know A Thing About Me is just awful (although strangely catchy). But the rest, well they more than make up for it. My personal favs are Legacy (the song on the Full Throttle intro), We Want Our Brothers Back (the better of the 2 ballads, although Drop The Hammer is cool as well) and Not Buried Deep Enough (the slowest of the heavy songs, but amazingly cool with a real groove to it). Other great songs include Love Comes Crawling, Get Outta Town, Let 'Er Rip and Born Bad.For those who haven't heard this, it's 80s style metal with a bit of rock here and there. I highly recommend to it to fans of early Iron Maiden and Guns And Roses especially, as it's kind of a mix of the two. Go buy it now!!"

"The Stephenwolf junk is for panzies. This is the real thing. This album has everything, fast paced overdriven guitar, slow love ballads, insightful lyrics. Each track is distink and memorable. This is one of the most underappreciated albums ever put out, and in my eyes one of the best. This album is a tribute to rock 'n roll, it is pure, raw, emotion and music. The American dream all in a six string. If you bought this album and didn't like it you must have a problem. I would suggest seeing your doctor and a therapist. This music is comprable to many other bands. I would say it is similar to Cheap Trick, Metallica, and maybe even Blue Oyster Cult. Take a chance, buy this album, it will amaze you."
