Ensemble Devotio Moderna perform modern interpretations of long forgotten musical manuscripts from the middle ages discovered in the libraries of German convents. For these recordings middle-age musical instruments were reconstructed and learned by the musicians. Every title in this series has it`s own theme. The series is accompanied by detailed, illustrated booklets with information on all aspects of this singular musical culture.
