"A wonderful production of the Violin Concerto op. 100 by Reinhold Glière, completed by B. Lyatoshinsky. Anyway a surprising work - the last work of the composer (1956) with beautiful romantic melodies and ideas. Yuko Nishino is a responsable performer. She lightens the work. The Philharmonia Orchestra under Yondani Butt's baton supports in a fine way. Superb!

The 2nd symphony by the same composer is to be heard today as a master piece. Well and impressioning performed.

At least: Glière's works are too little known and too little estimated. Two reasons for: This CD is highly recommended!"
