"No one can equal the sound of Glenn Yarbrough's unique tenor voice. I had this album on vinyl for many years. One of his first ones after leaving the "Limeliters". I am happy to have this remastered CD edition. The classic folksongs on this disc showcase his clear voice. One of my favorites is "Capitol Ship" (perhaps it hails back to my Navy days).

"Suspiros del Chanchamayo" is mesmerizing!

The days when folk music was all the rage are gone now, but these songs will show you how simple songs can touch you and also tell a story.

Glenn went to sing many more great songs. This album signals the start of a long solo career. A good addition to the collection any fan of Yarbrough's or classic folk music.
