and greatest voices in rock but has mostly been ignored in the USA by critics and radio. Hughes is one of the classic hard rockers like UFO, Thin LIzzy, Y&T, AC/DC that are still around because of die hard fans of "real rock" not MTV or NU metal crap that is out there today. His music and songwriting is brilliant and of course 'the voice' like no other. This DVD has it all from Trapeze, Deep Purple and his solo material. The footage is not the greatest video but filmed in a small studio with limited fans it's raw and feels live! I did notice that some overdubbing must have been done because some singing and playing isn't on time but who cares! I think this is a must for any Hughes or "real rock" fan out there who wants great rock n roll." |
