"They can keep their salsa and their bachata, I'll take merengue. It has proven itself again and again as the most universally infectious carribean music form. Giselle's hot, fast paced and haunting voice is a superlative experience. I witnessed a dance floor melt down hearing LO MIO ES MIO during my last trip to Santo Domingo. Don't attempt to remain seated throughout some of the songs on this album. Some of the other tracks are less hardcore, more romantic."
