The album produced a number of hit singles, making Michael become the first artist in UK chart history to have six top 3 singles from one album. George Michael achieved fame in the duo Wham in his native U.K. in 1982. Through 1986, he and his partner, Andrew Ridgeley, scored hit after hit in a variety of styles from Rap to up-tempo Pop to slow Ballads. As songwriter and lead singer, Michael gradually overshadowed the group, and by the time they split, he was ready for a massively successful solo career. This is the most relaxing, calming album. It's my L.A. traffic go to CD.The songs are introspective. It's amusing to a now 53yr old man to hear G.M. feel he's 'old'@ 32, his age upon release. 1 of 1 member(s) found this review helpful. Chris D. Reviewed on 2/3/2007... Love this cd!!!!!!
