"I bought this in LP format during the late 60s after hearing the George Lewis band in Preservation Hall (although GL was no longer alive). The music was great then, and sounds just as good now. This is classic Dixieland at its best -- no fake nostalgia, but consummate instrumental blues with nothing to prove to anybody. These guys really had something to say!"
