"This is a fantastic album I got it on sale and what a buy I was a fan of Gene Vincent mainly from his 50's recordings but this is a compilation of his last two albums before he died. The great thing here is that the listener can here the tremendous talent of Gene as he steers towards a more country sound but he still has that rockabilly spark igniting these songs. The album captures feelings of loneliness, rebellion and the need for spiritual love and knowingness. Gene is at his best here, even better than his 50's songs in my opinion. The music is superp the lyrics brilliant and hurting everthing is awesome. This is the kind of album you put on when you're travelin' a lonely highway in search of God or to challenge the devil, at least that's how I view it. If you love the rebel in black that belongs to the night and travels alone then this is your album. So keep on rockin'!"
