United States | 12/26/2006 (5 out of 5 stars) "Not everyone will respond to this ultra- technical piano playing, but I find this artist offers moments of pure poetry as well, especially in the first two movements of Ravel's Gaspard de la Nuit. La Valse shimmers, but is not quite up to the level of Leonard Pennario on an old Capitol LP. Still, this CD is well worth a listen. The Gaspard eclipses Argerich's account and is one of the best in front of the public today."
