"...this is the BEST twenty-something dollars I've ever spent! I first fell in love with GQ, the terribly underrated singing group, when I was back in high school and had first started using words like "blood" and "tight." I wanted to be back in the seventies in the mid nineties, probably because I heard all these songs growing up over and over and they just stuck with me. One day I came across one of my dad's 45s...GQ's "Boogie Oogie Oogie" must have been a b-side or something, but it was ten times better than the one by A Taste of Honey. My great appreciation for "I Do Love You" and "Sitting in the Park" soon followed. Kind of makes you want to just get a tall, dark, and lovely fella, some Pink Champale, and this CD, and just sit back and relax...or kiss...or well...YOU know. This is seventies ballads and classic romantic music at its best. The surprising high-note-falsettos sprinkled throughout the songs are impressive and appreciated, and put you in the mind, of perhaps, Switch. But don't compare the two. GQ is some of the best slow-grinding themed music ever to have been recorded, and today's musicians could learn something if they'd only spin GQ a time or two."

"Can't add anything to the praises but to say, they were MORE than a ONE HIT WONDER!! Their own music, their remakes, all top drawer! When I bought my copy, I paid $9.99/US. Of course, that was YEARS AGO. Be patient, the price will fall again...maybe in our own lifetime! Five stars!!"
