Synopsis

Album Description
After nearly eight years at the forefront of the electronic music scene, Leeds-based 20:20 Vision recently reached its 100th release. Established by Ralph Lawson, of the legendary Back to Basics club, the label has grown organically to encompass over twenty international artists. Montreal-based Fred Everything isn?t too far off from 20:20 Vision in reaching his 100th release. With nearly 70 releases under his belt on labels such as Om, Mantis, Shaboom, Grand Royal, Stereo Deluxe, Turbo, and Bombay since his production career began proving over the years to be one of the most talented house producers. Light of Day is his second 20:20 Vision album, representing some of Fred?s finest work. You will hear influences of reggae, jazz, funk, house and disco while still maintaining the classic Fred Everything sound. This album is a truly global release, in which Fred collaborates with several different artists, including vocalists such as Rise Ashen, Roy Davis Jr, Judah and Joseph Malik to create an album with unprecedented depth and texture. It is an accomplished, lush, musical album that can stand alongside long players from the likes for Blaze, Truby Trio, Black Science Orchestra and Blue Six.
