CD Reviews

IRON and STONE is a MUST have...
Amethyst Ed | New Jersey, USA | 11/29/2003
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Wait till you hear "Iron and Stone". I dont think Dave Groll wrote this awsome song, but it has to be one of my favorite songs from these guys...It is FAST and POWERFUL. See, that's the GREAT quality of The Foo Fighters, they can crank out loud and heavy Rock songs then switch gears and softly harmonize a girly-ass ballad. I've seen them live twice and they really have fun at a club...If your a fan, YOU MUST HEAR "IRON AND STONE"..."
Pretty good

"While I can't say much for the other track, "Learn To Fly" and the Floyd's "Have A Cigar" are damn good rock songs, the latter of which is surprisingly solid. I like how FF reworked HaC and did their own thing, instead of trying to copy the Floyd's production style. I am a real Floyd fan, and can admit that many Floyd covers miss the mark. This one hits it, and does so rather well. Check it out if you can find it."
