CD Reviews

Fleetwood Mac in transition.

(5 out of 5 stars)

"This is a valuable addition to any fans collection of pre-Buckingham/Nicks Mac. Two albums of live and studio recordings featuring early versions of songs that would later end up on the "Kiln house" album, and a few songs that never were released(purple dancer, a great Danny Kirwan song). You also get 4 Christine Perfect songs recorded just before she permanently joined the Mac.Lots of Jeremy Spencer, doing his slide guitar blues and early rock songs, and a hysterical live clip of him doing Elvis on stage with a great Elvis rap to the crowd!! The sound quality could be a little better, but the importance of these recordings overshadows that."
