"On principle, I shouldn't give a greatest hits package 5 stars, but this collection truly deserves it. It's a survey of the great sex symbol's most endearing songs, covering a vast range of styles (the sertanejo of Nuvem de Lagrimas and Coracao Xonado, the fado-esque arrangements of Ninguem Vive sem Amor and Abandonada, the bolero Foi Assim, and the joyous pop Vermelho) and years (from 1973 to 1996). Her voice can be heartbreaking (as in Ninguem Vive sem Amor), world-weary (her version of Chico Buarque's Sob Medida), or breathlessly exhuberant (Vermelho). This is a perfect companion to her 1998 worldwide success Coracao Brasileiro, itself an unqualified classic. A great collection from a classic voice! Obrigado, Fafa de Belem, eu te amo!"
