CD ReviewsExciter still rules! Adrian | 09/14/2009 (5 out of 5 stars) "Any fan of thrash and speed metal should know who Exciter is. I personally think they're the most underrated band of the genre, and this album is yet another testament to that.
What I really love about Exciter is the refusal to change. (Except of course Unveiling and OTT, still both good albums.) If you listen to the latest from all the other great thrash bands today, you're bound to here a little modern influence, not on this cd. This is pure unadulterated thrash. I was worried when I first read they had a new vocalist, I liked Jacques Belanger and had never heard of Kenny Winter. Well, don't worry, this guy kills, actually I like him as much as Beehler. This is probably their heaviest work yet, and it's plenty fast, except a few songs like Crucifixion. Any fan of Exciter or good thrash metal should buy this one immediately. " |
