CD ReviewsNice Senne Soli | 07/30/2000 (4 out of 5 stars) ""Single" is a nice and calm song. Tracey Thorn and Ben Watt have done a good job diving into trip hop. "Single" is okay, but don't expect anything amazing - I like "Wrong" or "Five Fathoms" more. The Photek-remix spices it up a little, adding some speed to it, which is nice - just don't expect some high-energy dance song, or something. Calm and minimalistic drum 'n' bass, that's what U get. The next track, "Corcovado" is the big threat on this single. Tracey Thorn singing in Spanish is beautiful. U can also get this song on "Red Hot + Rio". On the last song, they have gone wrong ; it says "Single ( Brad Wood Memphis Remix )" 4.39, but it's actually a remix of "Wrong" ( I don't know which one - could be Deep Dish or Todd Terry ), which is much longer, and a really nice dance track."
