CD Reviews

Esham , change is good....
Zulu bangin | IL, Usa | 01/07/2004
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I like the song no war. You may have heard it Rif rocks back in the day ... They played this song at a time when this nation was blindly following Bush , and his rich friends agenda's. I realize it is still going on. I also realize that most of the reviewers who wrote badly of it. Have no concept of the clusterF*** dubbya has put us into. But one day you guys will when theres a cartoon about it , or something. I for one have respect for esham for not being a sheep. He is gotten over the whole satan is cool ,and helps sell records to mindless idiots phase. He has stood up to all these wannabe geeks dissing him. Thats something that most of us can respect, but the weak minded will hate..... I think this is overall another great esham album. But I warn you that closed minded people will not like it."

"Man, im actually glad thiz cd iz still worth my money. Esham soundz a lil different from hiz previous albumz because it haz a more hip-hop beat than acid rap...(it even sayz in da cover..fine detriot hip-hop)...but I actually still like it...It haz some wicked songz, some songz bout life in Detroit...n some stuff in the past...some people gave thiz cd 1 to 3 starz on thiz cd because Esham iznt hardcore az hiz previous albumz...Well I think it iz one of hiz best...and it iz probably the best album in 2003 (next to 3-6 mafia)...Well if you like Esham talkin bout Reel Life $h!t then thiz album iz very recommended fo ya...but if you like only hiz hardcore $h!t (like k!lla $h!t only) then itz betta to give it a listen first...overall thiz cd deservez mo den 5 starz (In my opinion). N he still disses FEminem n She 12...LOL...Favorite songz: Boom (Thiz track iz hardcore az hell...my favorite part iz when Violent J disses dem idiotz D12 :) Ex-girlfriend, Woo Woo Woo, Back In Da Day, Detriot...So far Esham never dissappointz me when he dropz an album. :) Im lookin forward in buyin hiz newer albumz if it eva dropz soon."
Great esham album
Ben | AUSTRALIA | 01/17/2004

"this is another classic esham album, it is not as good as albums such as Closed Casket, Booming Words From Hell, Dead Flowerz or Kkkill The Fetus, but it is still worth every cent of your purchase. It is the best rap realease of 2003, better than any mainstream garbage. Good cuts on this album are Bang, an awesome track to start the album off with, gets u into the album straight away, Woo Woo Woo, we've all heard this one, a good laid-back track, Pay, another great song featuring the great bone thugs, No More Dying, great song one of my favourites this one, Back In Da Day, my 2nd favourite song on the album, Mommy, another great catchy song, Ex-Girlfriend, great lyrics, nice chorus, Look At Me, my favourite song here, just an awesome track great callaboration with Twiztid, love it, Brick, nice track featuring TNT from natas, Detroit, another song with TNT talkingb about their hometown, Boss Up, very funny lyrics, great beat, great song, No War, many other reviewers have sed this is one of the few flaws in the album, well he has changed his point of view over alot of things, i really like this song, All Of My Life, a nice song to finish the album off, with some great final words. Some songs i have left out are still good songs, but these are what stood out most to me. This is album isnt really wicket but that does not mean the music cannot be good. I recommend you get this, even if you havent heard of Esham or any of his music, because this is better than anything else out there atm, including eminem and 50 cent, they r sh*t compared to esham, they r sh*t fullstop though. Trust me, if you dont get this, then you are just sleeping on the most talented lyricist ever, and the best underground rapper ever (best rapper in my opinion). You are missing out badly."
