It's his most mature and musically complex release and stands above his earlier work (which is great in its own right) and his latest effort Stile Libero (which is a solid 4 stars). The studio version of Io Amero is sensational but it's worth checking out the acoustic version in the live album (which is my second favorite album). L'Aurora and Quasi Amore are two of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Lei Pero has a great bass line. Stella Gemella is intriguing. Basically this is a CD you listen beginning to end, it's that good. I must admit a heavy bias towards his Italian versions, for some reason the Spanish ones just don't do it for me.
