"This package includes performances from Elvis' two big TV specials, his 1968 Comeback special and his 1973 Aloha from Hawaii concert which was broadcast worldwide. This is an excellent set if you do not already own the individual releases.



The Comeback Special album was originally released in late 1968, soon after the special aired. It was a top ten hit in the US, reaching number 8 on the Billboard Album Char, and number 6 on the rival Cash Box album chart. It was an even bigged hit in the UK reaching number 2. It includes several classic performances such as "Memories" and the powerful "If I Can Dream". The album was certified PLATINUM by the RIAA.



The Aloha from Hawaii album was released in early 1973, soon after the concert. It was a huge hit in the US, topping both the album and country album charts (it would be Elvis' last number 1 album in the US until 2002's Elv1s 30 Number 1 Hits). It was certified MULTI-PLATINUM with sales in excess of 5 million in the US. It includes several strong performances including the hit "Steamroller Blues".
