Nice soundtrack

"This was a the soundtrack for Elvis' 1958 movie King Creole. It was a big hit when it was released, reaching number 2 on the US album chart and number 3 in the UK. The song Hard Headed Woman was a number 1 hit single in the US and number 2 in the UK (as was the song King Creole). It also includes one of Elvis' signature songs Trouble. Two EPs were also released with songs from the movie and both went to number 1 on the EP chart in the US.

While this was not as big a hit as some of his earlier albums, it was groundbreaking in its use of horns in rock and roll and trying to blend rock with dixieland. A must for Elvis fans and students of early rock and roll!
