Elvis' best plus a bonus CD

"The first CD is the outstanding Elvis 30 Number 1 hits CD. It actually includes 31 songs (including the "A Little Less Conversation" remix) that hit number 1 in the US and/or UK. It remains the best single CD overview of Elvis' career and is a must for rock and pop music fans.

What makes this release different is the bonus CD that includes rehersal recordings, alternate takes, and the extended version of "A Little Less Conversation", which is very good. Most of those tracks are not that remarkable. The "Burning Love" take is interesting. It is an early take and it is obvious that it was still a work in progress, but the guitar gives a different sound. The "Way Down" alternate take is very good and I actually like it better than the final release version.

All-in-all, this edition is for hardcore Elvis fans. Casual fans would probably be more satisfied with the single CD release in addition to saving a few bucks."
