"This package includes rehearsals and performances from Elvis' big Comeback TV special, his 1968 Comeback special. This is an excellent set but it is probably overkill for casual fans..



The Comeback Special album was originally released in late 1968, soon after the special aired. It was a top ten hit in the US, reaching number 8 on the Billboard Album Char, and number 6 on the rival Cash Box album chart. It was an even bigged hit in the UK reaching number 2. It includes several classic performances such as "Memories" and the powerful "If I Can Dream". The original soundtrack album was certified PLATINUM by the RIAA.



This set includes additional rehearsals and preperation performances not included in the original release. While this is a great collection, the import price is high and you should be able to get the domestic release cheaper."
