A near-classic collection 09/25/1998 (4 out of 5 stars) "Two legendary Latin talents team on this disc. While it's not the classic it could have been, it's still a pretty fine disc. Carr's voice is rich and her phrasing impeccable, and Mariachi Vargas offers marvelous support. But the disc features too many ballads and not enough of the fiery, emotional songs for which Carr is known. Also, she remakes three of her old hits ("Hasta Que Vuelvas," "Hoy" and "Por Amor"), which seems to be a rather needless move."
