"Talk about a lineup. Eddie Condon sure could organize a band. Billy Butterfield, Jimmy Dorsey, Bobby Hackett, Hot Lips Page, and Jack Teagarden just to name a few. The playing on this is relaxed and fun, just the way jazz was meant to be. What a thrill that someone saw the need to release the Town Hall concerts. Listening to these legends and the voice of the best "girl" singer, Lee Wiley, you will not be bored. Jazz fans owe it to themselves to at least own a few in this collection."
