Synopsis

Album Description
Take an inspiring musical journey down a wild river in the Pacific Northwest. Hear the actual calling of eagles as they feast on spawning salmon who have swum upstream from the ocean to lay their eggs in the calm river inlets and then lay down their lives for the next generation. Seagulls and other birds share the feast, but the eagle is the master. The voice of many rivers echoes across the vast valley.

Before I read the album cover and insert, I meditated with this CD just to see what I "got". I only mention this to give you an additional perspective on the peacefulness of this CD. In meditation with this CD, I saw myself as a Native American Indian, standing on the edge of a huge rock that jutted out over the plains. I was hundreds of feet above the plain, where I could see far, far into the distance. The period was early 1800s. Dawn was just breaking and the lush green unspoiled land was covered with a high mist. Through the mist I could barely see a herd of about 200 buffalo grazing on the land. In the silence, you could actually hear the crisp clean air, feel and smell the moisture, and envelop yourself in nature. I could hear the faint cry of an eagle way in the distance as the moisture carried the sound to me from afar. It was a beautiful, peaceful experience. Upon reading the cover and insert, I found this was a river scene, and I can see why. In any case, I sensed the earth resonance in just a different way. Maybe the river was just not in my line of sight as the Indian atop the rocks. This CD could be used for helping to induce a peaceful sleep state, as well as for alternative healing therapies, such as: Reiki, meditation, accupuncture and the like. You could also play it at home or in the office to simply create a peaceful environment."
