CD Reviews

Collection of Tracks rather than a structured album.
Hiroo Yamagata | Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo Japan | 02/14/2001
(3 out of 5 stars)

"I have the old release of this LP, don't know exactly when it came out, but it must be more than 5 years ago. Not a bad album. It's like... DC trying to be pop half heartedly. He does manage to be pop enough in track9 But many of the tracks have this tendency to be rather unsure about how it should end, and sort of just aimlessly wander off. The album itself sort of... just ends, without ever reaching that sublimeness that DC often achieves. It's unmistakably DC, and you will like it if you like DC.But it probably does not have the power to win someone over, because it's more like a collection of trackes than a well structured album. It's still good, if you like DC.But... Is this release date serious? 2010? What's taking them so long! Who knows what'll happen by then! Who knows if Amaon.com will be here by then?"
