The reissues were dumped onto the market rather quickly, perhaps to assure their release (as London wasn't doing too well). While it's nice to add bonus tracks, it would have been better to add the non-LP material to the album it best fit. In this case, one (long) track has been deleted from the original album along w/ audience noise, in order to accommodate bonus tracks (studio recordings, one a remix). The original Japanese factory pressing was of excellent sound quality & captured the 70+ minute performance extremely well, including details of movement on the stage. Given that the performance was less technologically driven than the added material, these bonus tracks feel quite intrusive tacked on to the end." I bought this pricey live CD by the Durutti Column when it came out (don't ask when) and sonically it blew me away so i am sad to read the reviews saying the sound had not been preserved. It was one of my favourite Cd's for quite a while actually. The playing is extraordinary and the moods he achieves are incredible. A unique recording of a vastly under-rated artist. For those who do not know what to expect, this is atmospheric solo guitar from the post-punk era. Something you did not think existed really."
