Album Description

Duke Robillard is one of the great guitar masters of our time, adept at styles that range from rock to swing, but always with the blues at the heart of his music. After founding the band Roomful of Blues, Duke struck out on his own, and these are among the first recordings he made with his stripped-down trio that put the focus clearly on his guitar and songwriting. Included are three songs previously unavailable on compact disc.

"Yes this should be part of your Duke Robillard collection.

HOWEVER, Rounder Records claim that the release contains "three songs previously unavailable on compact disc" is FALSE. You can purchase the combined albums, " Duke Robillard & the Pleasure Kings" and "Too Hot to Handle", ON CD (easily via Amazon UK) and this contains ALL of the songs previously claimed unavailable on CD ie 'What That Means to Me', 'T-Bone Boogie' & 'Oh Babe'.

Duke has moved on, Rounder hasn't."
