"Inspired by Stevie Wonder's song Sir Duke, I bought this album for the first time in 1976. Just a teenager then, I found most of the music complex and not very accessible. But times changes things - and ears. Today I have many wonderful memories that are linked to Ellingtons music, and I feel like many of the tunes here are some of my life's dearest companions."
