"This album confirms what I had always suspected -- the Dude Rocks! The Trey contributions kick butt & Fishman's drumming is right on. The Great Red Shark backs him on a few killer tracks particularly Scuba Dive. Check out Francella - what an hysterical twisted rocker! The Dude has put down 10 great songs that remind me of why I fell in love with Phish in the first place!"
I loved listening to this disc- It's fun

"I know the Dude worked really hard on this disc, and I'm pleased to say I think it's really great. The songs are fun to listen to and very melodic. And the Dude's voice sounds better than ever. I wish more people would listen to this disc."
Great sound with catchy rythms. A fun album.

"This album confirms The Dudes ability to create some fun, awesome music. Many of the songs were very catchy and keep you humming them all day. The performance by his supporting musicians is fantastic. He certainly gathered a great group of musicians to accompany him for this album. However, I would have liked to have heard a little more from the very talented musicians and less of the extra noises that appear throughout. From start to finish, there were definetely signs of great talent. Lot's of fun. It's music that puts you in a good mood!"
I thought it WAS Phish.

"I'm a Billy Breathes fan. Dude of Life takes the members of Phish and recreates some of their earlier jam sounds. He does a great job and gets some nice blues and rock and roll. But I'm a mellow guy. If you like mellow music, you won't like this cd. If you like jam music, you'll love it. High points on this album include the song "Tow Truck Driver" and the song dedicated to those who may have caused the death of Princess Di, "Paparatzi." Yes, some of the songs sound like Story of the Ghost Phish music with a man who sounds like Tom Petty singing. But, all in all, the album is unique. Just a little too loud. I'm getting too old for this kind of stuff."
