"Norbert Duka might not be the most accurate or sensitive of bassists, but the group's balance is decent. They manage to blend well with the bass in dealing with such delicate and problematic textures. This album does serve as a great first hearing of this hard-to-find music. (Note to bassists: Unless you've played the Trout a few hundred times as favors for quartets, don't ask anyone to play these with you. This is music specifically for calling in debts.)"
