CD ReviewsGreat Harmony D. Bacon | Shoreline, CT | 05/12/2006 (5 out of 5 stars) "Here is a collection of songs by a couple of Hartford, CT groups, the 5 Bell Aires and The Embers. Both of these groups showcase some great harmony. It's a shame that neither group managed to achieve fame in the recording business. Of special note is the 4 songs The Ember do backing up Gene Pitney, before he made it big a few years later. One can only wonder what types of sounds he would have created had he continued with a vocal group. This is a must have CD for any Doo Wop fan or collector."
