"If all Christian metal sounded like this CD, I would be a HUGE fan!! I meant to post this review years ago, but never got around to it. I found this CD quite by accident at an antique/flea market type place in rural MO of all places. I picked it up and from the first time I listened to it in my car, I was completely blown away. For a minor label release, the production quality is incredible. Very tight, well balanced guitar sound. These three guys can play and I was impressed with the more progressive stuff that was thrown in on this CD...lots of extra hooks, bridges, etc. Now, I have never been a huge fan of christian rock (although i have listened to it) but this one is a must have - very impressive lyric writing as well and nice touch in the liner notes where the story/inspiration for each song is described. Keep Rockin'!!"

"As a HUGE Disciple fan, I can tell you that this is a great CD but is very different from their most recent efforts like RISE UP & SCARS REMAIN. It sounds more like old school metal (which I love!!). If you put old Metallica & Rage Against the Machine in a blender, you would have "THIS MIGHT STING A LITTLE". In your face Chritian lyrics and heavy guitar work make this a must have in your Disciple collection."
