A wonderful surprise

"What a wonderful surprise it was to me when I saw the tune "Don't Misunderstand" on this CD. I had only heard this tune done by Etta jones and always loved it. Diane does a great job on this great tune. All of the cuts on this CD are great and all of the musicians deserve a standing ovation for their work. If you like this one as much as I do, check out her second CD, "On The Street Where You Live." These CD's are one's that you will play over and over."

"This CD that will hold any Jazz fan's interest! Great timeless ballads like Angel Eyes, and Don't Misunderstand...
Swinging standards like This Can't Be Love and the title cut,
THEN.....Diane and her quartet really show off their versatility with great Brazilian and Latin jazz tunes...Topped off with the fact that Diane sings the Brazilian tunes in Portuguese...
Great instrumentals, too.....very fresh ideas...
In todays' market with many piano/vocalists, Diane and her quartet is someone that stands out in the crowd! I highly recommend "A Sleepin' Bee" !!!"
