Magnificent unknown music!

"The Felecien David work, Le Desert is a mid-19th century French Romantic period composition which has a distinctly "Oriental" (Mid-Eastern) flavor. It's written in the form of a sort of miniature oratorio, with a narrator and choral parts, but no vocal soloists. The music is magnificent and unique in 'flavor' to my knowledge; performance and recording are equally delightful. MOST highly recommended!!!"
