CD Reviews

Well worth the price

(4 out of 5 stars)

"Certainly the most definitive collection available (short of a box set). The second disc seems more of an afterthought than part of the package (though there are some real gems on it). The main problem with this collection is that while tracks from most albums are featured, there is only one track from each of the recent albums. Kansas still rocks and their unique sound is intact even in recent recordings. Perfect for the casual fan. Those of us who are die hard Kansans need a little more. A volume two of the one disc Best of Kansas would have been more practical."
Best consolidation

"This KANSAS purchase is a hard to find import. It is the best collaboration of hits by these midwestern rockers that you can find on one cd and doesn't cost a bunch either. Is an excellent addition to any collection! Bill Whitt"
