Dave Stewart s career spans three decades and more than 100 million in album sales worldwide, highlighted by his collaboration with Annie Lennox in the groundbreaking pop-rock duo Eurythmics.
In 1999, the duo was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at The Brits. In 2011, after co-writing and co-producing her solo album, Dave joined Stevie Nicks on a sold-out ten-city tour in Australia. Dave then founded the aptly-titled heavyweight musical group SuperHeavy (a collaboration with Mick Jagger, Joss Stone, Damian Marley and A.R. Rahman, releasing an album in September 2011. The self-titled album SuperHeavy was hailed as one of the Best Albums of 2011 by Rolling Stone.
Once more, LUCKY NUMBERS merges Stewart s rock and country influences, backed by the best players in Nashville; Guitarist Tom Bukovac, drummer Chad Cromwell, bassist Michael Rhodes, Pianist Mike Rojas, accordionist Kieran Kiely and steel Guitarist Dan Dugmore. These elite musicians also joined Dave on his acclaimed Nashville-recorded album Blackbird Diaries . For LUCKY NUMBERS the band all journeyed to the South Pacific; their unpredictable adventures have been captured in a unique documentary which will roll out in tandem with the album release.
On the first single , Every Single Night Dave is joined by Martina McBride for an amazing duet. This single will premiere in mid August and will be serviced to various radio formats. It will be supported by both a lyric video and full length music video. A Making Of video, and a track-by-track video will launch with premiere partners and will be supported by social media marketing and advertising. Karen Elson also joins Dave for a riveting duet Nashville Snow which will be serviced in mid-September as a second single leading into the early October release date.
