"This CD brings into focus the maturation of Dave Grusin's pianistic grace. No longer fascinated by the tricks of electronics, Grusin, in this CD made up of of his own movie compositions, shows us a warmpth and depth not widely heard these days. Highly recommended."

Maybe Not His Best, But Awfully Close

"Grusin is such a diverse artist, in some ways it's difficult to define what is his "best". Some people like him for his jazz pieces, others for his renditions of favorite songs, still others for his wide variety of songtracks he's written.

Having said that, though, this is a good solid Grusin album. My favorite by far is "Mojadi",which in my opinion, is worth the price of the album alone. It is just so unabashedly retro that is cool."
