"that thinks this is Danzig's best album? I like the fact that the songs don't have all those boring solos (someone else reviewed that because they're missing is bad). It's also very hard and rocks out great, especially at loud volumes. I don't see why everyone calls this experimental. It's really not that far removed from his earlier work, but for me the songs on here are better written and the playing is tighter and harder. If I were to only have one Danzig album, it would be this one. Every other one (except maybe Circle of Snakes) just pales compared to this one."

A masterpiece among Danzig albums

"4p is easily one of my top 3 favorite albums by Danzig. Though not as heavy as some of the newer stuff, it's definately the pinnacle of blues metal. It's probably the most doom-ish sounding Danzig album but, that's good if you like that kind of thing. highlights on this one would be "Little Whip", "Cantspeak", "Until you Call on the Dark", "Sadistikal", and my personal favorite "Bringer of Death"."
